The Directorate General of Civil Aviation asked airlines on Friday to cancel 20% of their flights at Paris-Orly, Marseille, Toulouse and Bordeaux on Tuesday and Wednesday due to a strike by air traffic controllers against the pension reform.
Program reductions, to match flight volumes and the number of air traffic controllers at their posts and avoid even greater disruption, have already been in place for several days.
The administration had already warned that they would continue all weekend and Monday, before a new day of national mobilization scheduled for Tuesday the inter-union.
