(ANSA) - KIEV, MARCH 24 - From Bakhmut "we are not withdrawing".
Mykhailo Podolyak, adviser to Ukrainian President Zelensky, reiterated this in an interview with ANSA, explaining that "there are quite intense battles in all directions, at the same time we are carrying out an important mission there, we are eliminating the rest of the Russian forces, those who they are still able to fight. But we are also accumulating our resources and completing new brigades for the counteroffensive".
And he confirms: "Yes, possible scenarios foreseen by the General Staff are being studied, of which we obviously cannot give details, but they exist. And we prepare ourselves in two senses: on the one hand we defend ourselves and on the other we prepare for the counter-offensive ".
