(ANSA) - ROME, MARCH 25 - A "modest growth": the Centrostudi of Confindustria estimates the 2023 GDP to grow by 0.4%, "a marked slowdown compared to the 2022 average" but "more favorable than assumed just a few months ago" when zero growth was expected.
An improvement that is "exclusively linked to the better dynamics in the second half of 2022. Excluding the drag for this year, flat growth is confirmed".
For 2024 "on the other hand, thanks to the return of inflation, to the less restrictive monetary policy and to the improvement in the international context, there will be better dynamics also in Italy (+1.2%)".
