I have an apartment in Tenby, Wales, which overlooks the sea. It's always fascinating to watch the sea. Not a day is alike.

There is a small island in the middle, so we look at it.

Framing an image in your camera is completely different.

We must put ourselves in the logic of what we want to show.

I don't have any sailors in my family, nor any special relationship with the sea except that I've always loved it.

Of course, I've done a lot of seaside resort imagery, both in Britain and overseas.
