While a new day of mobilization is scheduled for Tuesday March 28 at the call of the unions, wild demonstrations are currently taking place in certain cities in France to protest against the pension reform.
The CGT thus calls "
to generalize the strike in all companies and services, and to multiply the protest initiatives all this weekend
".
Le Figaro
takes stock of the various mobilizations.
In Brest, the call to demonstrate was launched at 1 p.m., in front of the forecourt of the Segalen university.
In Montpellier, leaflets mentioned a demonstration at 2 p.m., Place de la Comédie.
“
We can win.
It's time to be heard
”, is it written on the sheets.
At 3 p.m., the Jardin Albert 1er in Nice and the Place de la République in Dijon saw dozens of demonstrators flock.
However, the prefecture of Côte d'Or published a press release specifying "
the ban on demonstrating in Dijon on Saturday March 25
".
The organization had first proposed a modification of the course, which the organizers refused.
"
The forces of order will thus be mobilized
" to enforce the decree of the prefecture.
These mobilizations are added to those against the immigration law of Gérald Darmanin, yet postponed in the government agenda.
The Head of State also clarified on Thursday that the initiative will be “
rearranged
”, divided into “
several texts
” in the “
coming weeks
”.
In Paris, Montpellier, Lille and Marseille, hundreds of demonstrators are present to demand the regularization of undocumented workers and the abandonment of the law.
