(ANSA) - ROME, MARCH 26 - Andrea Bocelli performed at TimesSquare in front of delirious fans, enchanted and exalted by the spectacular surprise arrival of the tenor on horseback, together with his wife Veronica.
The occasion was the presentation, kept hidden until the end, of the musical special "The Journey", a documentary film produced by the American giant TBN, which recounts a journey on horseback of the tenor with Veronica, on the Via Francigena.
The special saw the artist riding his beloved steed across the Tuscan-Lazio countryside, in a sort of pilgrimage that brought him back home from Rome to the hills of Lajatico.
The docu-film will be in US cinemas on April 2, 3, 4 and 6, while in Italy it is available on the Paramount + platform.
Departed from Central Park,
Bocelli arrived on horseback in Times Square to the ovations of those present.
