EU nuclear weapons in Belarus is escalating, ready for sanctions

(ANSA) - BRUSSELS, MARCH 26 - The deployment of Russian nuclear weapons in Belarus would represent "an irresponsible escalation and a threat to European security".

The EU High Representative Josep Borrell writes it in a tweet.

"Belarus can still stop" this escalation, "it is his choice. The EU - writes Borrell - is ready to respond with further sanctions".
