Near the settlement of Mahola in the north of the Jordan Valley, there are a number of magnificent natural springs that until recently only a few knew and knew about their existence.
Recently, the "Our Land" movement, which deals with agriculture and settlement from a Zionist vision, together with the Jordan Valley Regional Council, embarked on an operation to make the hidden springs accessible to the general public who could travel and visit them.
During the upcoming Passover, the three interesting ones will be revealed and opened to travelers with free admission.
The "Land of the Springs" of the Jordan Valley is a natural spring park that covers an area of about 5 km and in which about 30 springs flow. Three springs will be opened from them for the benefit of the public: Ein Gal, Ein Arnon and Ein Yabok. The project to access the Land of the Springs was carried out through The "Artezno" movement in collaboration with the Jordan Valley Regional Council, where youth from the region from various educational frameworks, organized themselves in several groups and went out to the area once a week to cultivate and make the land accessible for the benefit of travelers. Pruning and cleaning operations were carried out on the spot, and various shade corners were placed.
