(ANSA) - ROME, MARCH 27 - Israeli President Isaac Herzog is asking Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to stop the justice reform which - he writes in a note reported by the local media - "weakens the judicial system".
Herzog appealed directly to the premier, also referring to the unrest in the country: "We have witnessed very difficult scenes. I appeal to the Prime Minister, the members of the government and the members of the coalition. For the good of the unity of the people of Israel,
for love of the responsibility to which we are obliged, I invite you to immediately stop the legislative process" of the reform.
