One recruited minors through the Internet through deception;
another provided them with technical support and infrastructure to record pornographic content, and a third was in charge of disseminating the material in pornographic chat rooms and to clients.
This is how the functions were distributed by the three men arrested by the Seville National Police accused of crimes against the sexual freedom of minors.
The presence of two adults of very different ages in the company of a minor in a hotel in the Andalusian capital raised the suspicions of the police.
Both were allegedly there to have a sexual encounter with the child, record it and then distribute it to clients and in chat rooms specializing in homosexual child pornography, according to sources of the investigation.
One of them was in charge of contacting minors through false profiles on social networks.
Once he gained his trust, he would send them pornographic material to make them believe it was "normal" and ask them to send him photos and videos of sexual content.
When he had captured them, he went further, and offered them money in exchange for having a sexual encounter with him, an amount that increased if the victim sent him more images of pornographic content.
When he was traveling for work reasons it was when he stayed with the minors.
Another of the members of the plot was in charge of providing them with an address and technical and logistical material for the recordings, in exchange for a commission, and offered a wide portfolio of consumer clients of child pornography with homosexual content.
This was the one who was in charge of distributing the profits among the members of the group.
The third, with a police record for this type of conduct and "semi-professional in the world of child pornography", according to the information provided by the police, sent the links with the sexual content to an online chat known by the consumers
of
this type of material.
The links also redirected the clients with the videos in which the victims appeared and their own pornographic productions.
The searches carried out within the framework of the so-called Operation Novo, which is still open, have allowed investigators to seize a large amount of pornographic material with explicit sexual content produced by minors.
Of the three detainees, two are in prison.
