(ANSA) - BRUSSELS, MARCH 27 - The European Commission will ask for "clarifications" from the Libyan authorities regarding the attack on the Ocean Vicking vessel by the Libyan Coast Guard, as denounced by a Sea Watch video over the weekend.
This was stated by a spokesman for the Commission, specifying that he did not want to comment on the "specific incident" and that first it is necessary to acquire information and see what Libya's response will be.
"The EU's goal is to help Libyans improve in search and rescue operations," added the spokesman.
