(ANSA) - ROME, MARCH 27 - On the EU regulation on cars "at the moment we can say that the endothermic engine has been acquired. It was one of the points on the automotive table. We'll see about biofuels".
This was stated by the Minister of the Environment and Energy Security, Gilberto Pichetto, on the sidelines of a Unioncamere conference in Rome.
"The regulation is closed, and provides for endothermic engines with e-fuels - he added -. We are trying to discuss to have an opening on the Preamble, which means putting points for new developments. We will have e-fuels in 10 years, the we have biofuels now.
