More than 550. (ANSA) ROME - More than 550,000 visitors took part in the 31st edition of the FAI Spring Days (+43% compared to the 2022 edition) and dedicated the weekend to discovering or rediscovering the treasures of history, art and nature of our country, guided from that civil feeling of pride, belonging and responsibility which for over thirty years has made the flagship event of the Fondo per l'Ambiente Italiano


ROME - More than 550,000 visitors took part in the 31st edition of the FAI Spring Days (+43% compared to the 2022 edition) and dedicated the weekend to discovering or rediscovering the treasures of history, art and nature of our country, guided from that civil feeling of pride, belonging and responsibility which for over thirty years has made the flagship event of the Fondo per l'Ambiente Italiano a success.


    The FAI Spring Days are therefore confirmed as the most important street event dedicated to our incomparable cultural and landscape heritage: hundreds of thousands of people took part in visits to over 750 places in 400 cities, many of which are often inaccessible or little known , proposed by 7,500 passionate volunteers of the Foundation, the real driving force behind this initiative, supported by 15,000 Apprentice Guides - students from Italian schools trained for the occasion.


    An exceptional opportunity for knowledge and cultural enrichment, capable of making more and more citizens "fall in love" with the surprising beauties of their territories.


    The most visited place was the Anti-atomic Bunker Tunnel in Affi (VR), followed by Villa Schifanoia in Florence and the Castello degli Schiavi in ​​Fiumefreddo Sicily (CT).

Fourth place for Palazzo Clerici in Milan and fifth, in a tie, for the Palazzi dei 7 Portoni in Fossacesia (CH) and for the Rai headquarters in Corso Sempione in Milan.

Then, in sixth position, the Villa Gregoriana Park - FAI property in Tivoli (RM) - in seventh place the Wohlgemuth Fort in Rivoli Veronese (VR), in eighth the Church of San Giovanni degli Eremiti in Palermo, while in ninth location is Palazzo Salerno in Naples.

Closes the national ranking of the 10 most visited places Villa Wolkonsky in Rome.


    FAI assets also took part in the great Spring Days celebration: the most seen was Villa Gregoriana Park in Tivoli (sixth most visited place in all of Italy), followed by Villa Necchi Campiglio in Milan, Villa del Balbianello in Tremezzina (CO ), Villa dei Vescovi in ​​Luvigliano di Torreglia (PD) and Palazzo and Giardini Moroni in Bergamo.
