Tennis: Miami, Trevisan reaches the quarterfinals

Beaten Ostapenko, the first time in a WTA 1000 (ANSA) Martina Trevisan in Miami gained access to the quarterfinals of a WTA 1000 for the first time in her career. The 29-year-old from Florence, No. 24 in the ranking, beat the Latvian Jelena Ostapenko, No. 22 WTA. Between Trevisan and the semifinals there will now be the winner of the match between the Kazakh Elena Rybakina (n.7) and the Belgian Elise Mertens (n.39).
