It's hard to beat a precise black dress but that's exactly what Queen Letizia managed to do last night (Monday) when she arrived with her husband King Philip VI at the Gran Teatro Pala in Cadiz.
The royal couple visited the place on the occasion of the inauguration of the Ninth International Congress of the Spanish Language and Leticia as usual dressed quite successfully when she chose a black midi dress with a crazy detail that justifies a third (!) public appearance from the German fashion house Boss.
The flattering dress, from the brand's Spring 2020 collection, designed in a t-shirt silhouette whose upper part is made of black mesh with fringe decoration, presents the perfect fusion between a classic look and a bold fashion statement.

For the dress of the outfit, exquisite pumps in black suede by Ekuzora, a clutch bag by the Spanish label Magritte and long earrings by TOUS were chosen.
Although the chosen look does not present a combination of popular brands, as the Queen is careful to do, it echoes other and no less important messages: a garment is not something disposable (the dress was worn in 2019 and 2021) and a 50-year-old woman with graying hair can still look shockingly sexy.

But don't worry, it's still not possible to make statements that Leticia has abandoned the (relatively) accessible style that is being promoted by designers immediately in Spain.
Earlier yesterday she made a V about all the missing sections of the evening's outfit when she arrived at another formal event in a dress by Cho Ateliaer, a brand whose logo was engraved 'designed and made in Spain'.
The dress, which retails for €190, presented a spring look in a purple-lilac shade with a design featuring a midi length, a front slit, a wrap neckline and ¾ sleeves with a puff shoulder.

The matching bag by vegan label Olivia Merc is made of leather-like textile and costs €109.
Designer Carolina Herrera, an American designer with Spanish roots who has a place of honor in the Queen's shoe drawer, is responsible for the slingback shoes in a glossy shade of nude.
The look was completed by boho style earrings from the Spanish designer Alexandra Plata.

On the Instagram account of the Royal Fashion Police it was possible to feel that the people appreciate the investment in local products with encouraging comments such as "This is a victory for her and for Spanish fashion", "Spring has definitely sprung, and Queen Letizia knows it, she could not look more glamorous" and - "The Queen Ours is the muse of Spain."
