But during preparation, the stalk usually ends up in the garbage - that doesn't have to be the case, as you can cook many dishes with it.

  • Soups or puree: Together with potatoes, onions and vegetable broth, a delicious, healthy soup is created.

    You can also use leftover broccoli in mashed potatoes.

  • Broccoli sticks: Simply remove the stalk from the leaf residue, wash, dry and cut into sticks.

    Then put them in a breading of eggs, breadcrumbs, milk, salt and pepper and place on a baking sheet.

    Cook in the oven at 200 degrees for about ten minutes and serve with a dip.
