(ANSA) - BRUSSELS, MARCH 28 - Thirteen EU countries, including Italy, are asking for "a favorable industrial and financial framework for nuclear projects", promoting "research and innovation in particular for small modular reactors and modular reactors advanced".
This can be read in a joint note released by Paris, at the head of the nuclear alliance, at the end of a meeting with the European Commission.
The document was signed by Bulgaria, Croatia, Finland, France, Hungary, Poland, the Czech Republic, Romania, Slovakia and Slovenia.
Italy, together with Belgium and the Netherlands, has signed up as an observer country.
