(ANSAmed) - TEL AVIV, MARCH 28 - "We are engaged in an important debate, and we will get out of it. Our goal is to reach broad agreements": this is how Benjamin Netanyahu expressed himself today in a meeting with employees of the prime minister's office, on the occasion of the forthcoming Passover.
He was referring to his announcement yesterday relating to the postponement of legislation on judicial reform and the opening of a dialogue with the opposition under the aegis of the Head of State, Isaac Herzog.
Netanyahu then noted that Israel remains exposed to threats from its enemies, but that its power is growing nonetheless.
He also reiterated that his government will strive to extend peace with its Arab neighbors.
"We have great projects and we will carry them forward - he specified - with the spirit, with the facts and with the fundamental unity that, let us never forget, has always accompanied us for 3500 years".
