At least 39 people died last night in a fire at a National Institute for Migration (INM) center in Ciudad Juárez, in the northern Mexican state of Chihuahua.
The accident, the cause of which has not yet been established, occurred after 10 pm local time at the federal facilities located next to the Laredo international bridge, on the border with the United States.
According to local authorities, quoted by the media, the fire developed after a group of about 71 migrants.
