Marc Marquez will serve the Double Long Lap penalty in the first "MotoGP race in which he will be able to participate".
The Motorcycle Federation clarified this with an official note.
The Honda rider had been sanctioned for the accident he caused in the Portuguese GP, hitting Jorge Martin's Ducati and Miguel Oliveira's Aprilia in a dangerous manoeuvre.
Marquez had already been sanctioned at the end of the Portuguese Grand Prix.
The Spaniard will miss the next appointment in Argentina due to injury: in fact, during the accident that he caused he injured his hand and was forced to resort to surgery.
The Spanish media had relaunched the hypothesis that not participating in the next GP would allow him to avoid the sanction.
The note from the federation clarified that the penalty will still have to be served.
