The Senegalese agency APS and ANSA have signed a collaboration agreement which provides for the availability and exchange of content that can be used on their respective information platforms.

The ceremony was attended by

the Senegalese Ambassador in Italy Pope Abdoulaye Seck and - in connection from Dakar - the Italian Ambassador in Senegal Giovanni Umberto De Vito.

The offer of international information is therefore enhanced for the subscribers and customers of the two Agencies:

the agreement is in fact based on the possibility for the partners to use their respective information services for editorial use and to develop joint commercial offers to support the communication of institutions and companies in their respective countries.

The Italian Ambassador in Senegal Umberto De Vito

declared: "I welcome with appreciation the start of the collaboration between ANSA and the counterpart Senegalese agency APS. The need for factual and transparent information on the events of the Italy and Senegal Thanks to agreements like this, it will be possible to strengthen the narrative on the many opportunities, including in the educational, artistic and entrepreneurial fields, capable of uniting Africa and Europe, as well as offering a more complete perspective on the migratory phenomenon ".

    From him,

Ambassador Pope Abdoulaye Seck

he underlined that "this partnership agreement is fundamental for the construction of a world marked by interdependence, nourished by solidarity. In this regard, it is necessary to put an end to the asymmetry of information at the international level: very often the sources of tension and the wrong perception we have of people are determined by a lack of information, which leads to actions that are not consistent with the progress of humanity.Education, information, sharing and exchange are imperative if we want our planet to suffer a real positive metamorphosis. The partnership agreement signed will contribute to this goal and the Government of Senegal will do everything possible to ensure its rapid, effective and efficient implementation.the Government of Senegal is convinced that this agreement will be a complete success, given the commitment and determination of the new Senegalese news agency team and Italy's constantly reaffirmed desire for exemplary cooperation with Senegal".

The Director General of APS, Thierno Ahmadou Sy, expressed his satisfaction with the agreement signed with ANSA: "This collaboration between our agencies is all the more appropriate, in my opinion, as the Italian Republic hosts thousands of Senegalese who need know what is happening in their country of origin. And there is no doubt that this media bridge that we are building through this cooperation will allow them to always have the pulse of the country, to have reliable information from Senegal. The ODA will his to make the actions and activities of the structures and Italian citizens living in Senegal more visible, to the delight of their fellow citizens at home".

For Stefano De Alessandri, Chief Executive Officer of ANSA,

"The signing of this partnership is only a first step, which we hope will lead to further collaboration between ANSA and APS.

In fact, the agreement provides for the possibility of developing specific commercial projects for companies and organizations wishing to communicate from Senegal to Italy, and for Italian companies and institutions that want to communicate in Senegal. Within ANSA we are also developing interesting technological projects that we are ready to share with APS".
