(ANSA) - MOSCOW, MARCH 29 - The head of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), Rafael Grossi, said he was "trying" to reach a compromise between Moscow and Kiev to "avoid a catastrophe" at the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant occupied by the Russians.
"I'm trying to prepare and propose realistic measures that will be approved by all parties," Grossi said on the plant's website.
According to Grossi, this compromise would concern the plant itself and not just a safety zone around it, the subject of previous failed negotiations.
