Has the question that continues to bother us all received a satisfactory answer?

A 55-year-old man who died and came back to life claims he saw what was happening on the other side - and knew very quickly it wasn't his time to go.

Quill Hill was brought back to life after clinical death by the team of doctors at the hospital who performed CPR on him - and told about the brief experience he had "in the next world". This happened last year, when Kevin's heart stopped beating for several minutes due to complications from heart valve surgery. The doctors They almost had to pronounce him dead.

The man dubbed the "Miracle Man" by doctors told the Southwest News Service that he reached a "spiritual realm" after his death: "I didn't look down at my body, but I definitely said goodbye to it," Hill explained, It was like I was in the spirit realm.

I was aware of what was happening, but I felt so much peace and then I just went to sleep and woke up alive.

The bleeding stopped.

I knew it wasn't my time to go."

Kevin Hill, a journalist from Derby, said he did not see a bright light as others who have had a similar near-death experience say - and that there is no indication of the existence of heaven or hell.

However, he described the overall experience as "full of peace".

Hill's health struggle began in the summer of 2021 when his legs began to swell due to water accumulation.

He lost 65 kg of water over the course of a year during his frequent visits to the hospital. Doctors discovered that this was caused by Hill's heart valve having two parts instead of three - a medical problem that required him to undergo surgery.

However, Hill's problems were just beginning.

After the medical procedure, he developed calciphylaxis, a severe and uncommon disease in which calcium builds up in small blood vessels of the fatty tissue and skin, according to the Mayo Clinic.

The disease causes blood clots and painful ulcers in the skin that can lead to bleeding - a condition that occurs almost exclusively in patients with chronic kidney disease.

"I suffered from the disease for months. My skin was eating away at me," he recalled, saying that his legs eventually "bleeded": "I had three days where my legs were bleeding out - it just wouldn't stop."

Hill eventually lost more than two liters of blood, which led to his death within minutes: "I knew I was bleeding. I knew it was serious. Staff kept coming in and out to stop the bleeding. I was no longer there."

He told how he watched the medical team trying to save him.

After he was revived, Hill was left in excruciating pain.

He said: "I would cry for hours. My pain level was 100 out of 10."

After almost a year in the hospital, Hill recently finally returned home.

He told the South West News Service that the ordeal left him a completely different person: "The situation made me re-prioritize my priorities," he stated, "When I left the hospital, my family atmosphere changed dramatically. I became more flexible. I I know I can go back."

Hill returned home accompanied by his 52-year-old wife Camille.

He said: "I'm in the last stages of recovery. I still have some pain in my right leg but it's nowhere near what it used to be. I used to cry for hours. My pain level used to be 100 out of 10 and now it's down to 4. Everyone said I should be dead now ".
