(ANSA) - ROME, MARCH 29 - "The crime of torture is a particularly heinous crime and we have every intention of maintaining it. The government has no intention of repealing it".
This was assured by the Minister of Justice Carlo Nordio, who, answering a question at question time, explained that it was only necessary to intervene on some "technical deficiencies".
