You've probably heard that 60 is the new 40, and if you need proof, look no further than Catty Jacobs.
who recently celebrated her 60th birthday, but is in the best shape she has ever been in her life and is proud to model in a bikini.
Born in California, Katie always dreamed of being a star in the modeling world and began working in the industry during the 1980s.
After she had trouble breaking through and her career did not progress, she retired, not thinking that the day would come when she would be able to make a comeback.
But when Kathy was in her mid-50s, she decided to give it one last shot - and hasn't looked back since.
Since then she has participated in advertisements modeling in a bikini for the giant magazine Sports Illustrated, and even appeared in a revealing swimsuit in a music video for the rock band Green Day.

In an interview with the Board Panda website, she said: "I was a model in New York in the 80s and I did a few jobs here and there in Los Angeles. I gave up at some point and started working for minimum wage as a floor cleaner in a beauty salon. I decided to give myself one last try a year and a half ago. I started sending Pictures of myself for modeling and acting jobs, and to my surprise I got quite a few of them."
Katy, who also stars on Instagram where she has over 200 thousand followers, currently works full-time as a model and actress and has her own agent who gets her a lot of campaigns and work.

But how is the 60-year-old's glow preserved decades after what is considered the peak of her modeling career?
In the interview, she explained that she is not a "diet expert", but changed her eating habits six years ago because she was diagnosed with pre-diabetes.
She has cut down on meat and sugar in her diet and eats fish several times a week.
As far as carbohydrates are concerned, she does not like bread, pasta, rice or white potato, preferring sweet potato.
She revealed what she eats on a typical day, which she starts with a breakfast of a plant-based protein shake and vegan sausages, or eggs with cheese and tomatoes.
Lunch is the salad meal, which includes beans and cheese to add protein, and her favorite candy is a sugar-free chocolate chip snack with peanut butter.
To end the day, she turns to the pasta substitute - spaghetti squash, which she eats with pesto or tomato sauce.
"I also drink a lot of almond milk, because I put it in my coffee and in my smoothie every day. I eat a lot of almond wheat crackers and make an almond muffin that is sweetened with stevia or other sugar substitutes."
In addition, she exercises up to four times a week, she attends classes at a gym and takes part in a belly dancing class.

She encourages women her age to be proud of their age.
She recently wrote in an Instagram post, "I'm unstoppable, not invisible anymore. I refuse to fade into the light or sit in the dark because of my age and you can't tell me to fade away. All of us who refuse to live in the dark make others find their inner light."
