The mayor of Paris is accused by the government of "partisan" management of the strike against pension reform.

Spreading over several months the deductions from the wages of the strikers is a usual practice of "

end of conflict

", defended the PS mayor of Paris Anne Hidalgo to AFP, accused by the government of a "

partisan

" management of the strike against the pension reform.

There are laws in this country and we respect them.

They provide that in terms of strikes, there are possible spreads

, ”said during an interview the elected socialist, support of the social movement.

According to Le Parisien, the City's human resources department asked in an email to all the administrative services "

to spread the entry of these strike days over several months of pay, once an agent has been on strike for more than two days in this capacity in a given month

”.

In the same email, the HRD stipulates that “

the strike days covered by other notices (unrelated to the pension reform) are not affected by this measure

”.

Enough to make the government jump, of which Anne Hidalgo is a notorious opponent.

“As we have always done, we make deductions on strike days”

The regional prefect Marc Guillaume wrote twice to the Parisian executive, on February 8 and then on March 15, stressing that the town hall should proceed "

to a deduction proportionate to the duration of the strike

", then that these deductions should be carry out "

as soon as possible, that is to say in the month following the day or days of the strike and at the latest before the end of the second month

".

As we have always done, we make deductions on strike days

,” replies Anne Hidalgo.

"

But as everywhere, in negotiations with the unions, there is always, in all the end-of-conflict agreement protocols, a specific clause on the spreading of the sums linked to the days of the strike", affirms the city councilor,

former labor inspector.

Monday on CNews, the Minister of Public Service Stanislas Guerini deemed "

absolutely unacceptable and incomprehensible

" the "

militant management of the strike

" by the Town Hall, asking him "

to apply the law

".
