Employed people in February increased by 10 thousand units compared to January and by 352 thousand units compared to February 2022. This was noted by Istat, underlining that the employment rate rose by 0.1 points over January and 1.2 points over February 2022 reaching to 60.8%.
Istat underlines that "the employment growth compared to February 2022 only involves permanent employees, with a decrease in the number of temporary and self-employed employees".
The employed in February 2023 were 23 million 313 thousand with 272 thousand units more than February 2020.
