(ANSA) - BRUSSELS, MARCH 30 - "For the moment, Italy's progress towards achieving the milestones and objectives" of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (Pnrr) "has been positive".
This was stated by a spokeswoman for the European Commission during the daily briefing with the press, when asked about the Commission's confidence in Italy's ability to spend all of the 220 billion provided for by the Pnrr.
"For the moment the implementation of the plan is ongoing, as you know we are evaluating the third payment request and we have agreed on a further extension and therefore we will present our evaluation by the end of April," she recalled.
