These are the words of the President of the Republic, Sergio Mattarella, who spoke today at the inauguration of a new center in Osimo of the non-profit Lega del Filo d'Oro Foundation.
It is a highly specialized center in Italy for the diagnosis, assistance, education and rehabilitation of people with deafblindness and multiple sensory impairments.
The Head of State attended the ribbon cutting, with the historic testimonial Neri Marcorè
, flanked by some young users of the Centre.
The President of the Republic then visited the new Centre, in particular some areas, including that of the rehabilitation pools, an outpatient clinic, the teaching kitchen, also meeting some assisted users, before taking a seat in the multipurpose room for the ceremony with the various interventions.
