The stifling heat wave with which summer ended and autumn began began to subside and the

1. The Ombú of Areco (San Antonio de Areco)
Since it opened its doors to the public in 1993, El Ombú de Areco combines country traditions, very good service and comfort.

2. The Flock (San Miguel del Monte)
The most dreamed of rest can be enjoyed in one of its 5 rooms with full board, complemented by a healthy menu -meals are prepared with ingredients from the own garden- and activities such as field games, guided walks or a horseback ride through the park , with a hundred-year-old grove and sculptures.
You can also have tea in the gallery or picnic in the field.
In addition, the owners of the house suggest going out with the basket (with herbal teas and pastries) and improvising a picnic or snack in the middle of the natural environment, waiting for the sun to go down.

3. Villa Maria (Maximum Peace)
The 74 hectares of the park, designed in 1917 by a disciple of the famous landscape architect Carlos Thays, are just a detail of this aristocratic country estate.
The luxurious facilities have been built on the road to Cañuelas since the 1920s, when they were designed by the architect Alejandro Bustillo.
The historic main house houses the eleven rooms for guests.
Villa María also offers a very complete field day with activities to share with the family and a gourmet restaurant.

4. Don Silvano (Robles Stop)
The very complete day in the field begins with a reception of empanadas, wine and juice, announced for 11 o'clock.
Later, more than twenty horses in single file begin a guided walk through the pastures of the herds and buffaloes, while the aroma of medicinal eucalyptus trees is perceived all around... and meat on the grill.
There are also carriage tours and a spectacle of Creole skills, with ring races, gentleness of horses and herding.

5. La Mariana (Mercedes)
In the rural area of the Mercedes district, La Mariana is an ideal place to spend a day enjoying a barbecue, with a view of the wide horizon of the countryside that surrounds it.
Another of its main attractions is a farm with sheep, to visit during a walk before lunch or after dinner.

6. La Alameda (Chascomus)
The rural architecture that reached its splendor in the Buenos Aires pampas in the 19th century preserves one of its best conceived pieces on the shore of the Chascomús lagoon.
La Alameda is a bastion of the most authentic Buenos Aires gaucho tradition.
At all times, from the moment guests set foot on the farm along a street lined with blooming lilies, the picnic takes place here with the incomparable view of the lake in the foreground.
