(ANSA) - BRUSSELS, MARCH 30 - Final green light from the Eurochamber for the new rules against the so-called 'genderpay gap', the difference in wages between women and men.
The text was approved with 427 votes in favour, 79 against and 76 abstentions, and aims to tackle the gender pay gap.
The new rules, which are binding on the 27, require that pay structures be based on gender-neutral criteria, both in the private and public sectors.
In addition, gender-neutral job evaluation or classification systems should be introduced, as should vacancy notices and job naming.
