(ANSA) - ROME, MARCH 30 - The Wall Street Journal has "vehemently denied" the spying accusations made by Moscow against its journalist Evan Gershkovich, arrested in Russia.
"The Wall Street Journal vehemently denies allegations by Russian security services and calls for the immediate release of Evan Gershkovich, a reliable and conscientious journalist," the newspaper said in a statement.
"We stand in solidarity with Evan and his family."
