, in south-eastern Ukraine, where Europe's largest nuclear power plant is located, was bombed in the night and early in the morning by the Russian army.
This was reported by the Regional Military Administration quoted by the Ukrainian media.
According to local authorities, military units of the Russian Federation have launched a series of attacks with an anti-aircraft missile system causing the destruction of civilian infrastructure.
"Civilian structures have been destroyed: a fire broke out, nearby houses were damaged by the shock wave. There are no victims," the administration said.
The Kherson district in southern Ukraine has come under constant fire from Russia over the past 24 hours: the Federation army has shelled the area 64 times.
A civilian was killed, destruction is reported in residential neighborhoods, according to UNIAN.
Regional Military Administration head Oleksandr Prokudin said that "over the past day, the enemy carried out 64 bombing raids, firing 243 shells. Kherson oblast came under fire from Russian aviation and artillery."
