The Municipality of Tel Aviv-Jaffa publishes a "call" for entrepreneurs to lead an urban renewal project for the construction of 198 apartments on Burma Street in the Kiryat Shalom neighborhood.
The plan includes the demolition of two four-story housing buildings that exist in the complex, containing 80 housing units, and the construction of 198 apartments, as mentioned, in a 15-story tower and three 8-story buildings.
The complex is located close to the light rail route, where there is a strip of open public space between the buildings and the light rail station.
Due to the proximity to the light rail route, no parking spaces are planned in the project.

In April 2022, the local committee for planning and construction of Tel Aviv-Jaffa approved the plan for the deposit, and now the plan is in the approval phase for giving effect.
The "Ezra and Need" company, which believes in promoting urban renewal programs in the city, is currently promoting about 20 different renewal programs, which are expected to add about 3,000 new apartments to the city.
According to Eli Ginzberg, CEO of the "Ezra and Necessity" company: "This is the sixth project to be launched in this model, and to our delight, we see great interest both among apartment owners and entrepreneurs.
In the last project that came out in this model by Yad Eliyahu, 14 proposals were submitted and in the end, the tenants chose a developer who gave them very significant changes.
This testifies to the certainty and security created by this method of work, both for entrepreneurs and for apartment owners."
