Three 20-year-olds have died and three others are in danger of dying after being shot dead in three separate shootings that took place overnight in several popular suburbs north of Marseille known for drug trafficking.
The police reported it, specifying that there are at least five other less serious injuries.
The investigations were entrusted to the judicial police.
With three dead tonight, 13 people have been killed since the beginning of the year in Marseille, most often against the backdrop of drug trafficking.
A first shooting, with two victims, broke out around midnight near Castellas, in the 15th arrondissement.
Then a second one not far away, on the other side of the A7 motorway, near Aygalades, also the scene of several settling accounts in the drug trafficking environment.
Overall, these two shootings also affected six people injured, one of them between life and death.
Shortly before 1 am, a third shooting broke out in the 2nd arrondissement of Marseille, near the port district of La Joliette.
A victim hit by a bullet was pronounced dead and two other people are in intensive care.
