The Haifa District Planning and Construction Committee, led by the chairman of the committee and the district planner, Ronan Segal, decided to deposit a plan for the establishment of a new residential neighborhood (complex 15) in the northeast of the city of Hadera. The plan covers a total area of about 300 dunams and is located north of the Beit Eliezer
neighborhood , east of the Dania Estate neighborhood, south of the Hadera stream and west of the Zita reserve.
The plan initiated by Carden Real Estate includes approximately 3,000 units that will be built in a phased construction of 7, 10 and 15-story residential buildings.
In addition to the housing units, the plan includes about 3,100 square meters for commercial areas and about 5,600 square meters for employment areas that will be integrated into some of the residential buildings in the neighborhood, about 145,000 for public areas and about 50 dunams of open areas.
In the transportation aspect, the plan includes the construction of a bus transportation terminal that will serve the entire city, as well as the construction of a new road that will connect the new neighborhood with the extensions to the complexes located in the east of the city and the existing industrial area that will be expanded in another advanced plan.
A connection between East and West
The chairman of the Haifa district committee and the district planner, Ronan Segal, said upon depositing the plan, "The plan is an important step in the development of the city and creates a connection between the Beit Eliezer neighborhood at the eastern end of the settlement, west towards the city center.
The promotion of the plan was a significant challenge for the committee in view of the presence of national infrastructure lines nearby and in the area of the proposed plan, including high voltage lines, gas lines, and water lines of the Mekorot company.
However, after strenuous coordination with the infrastructure bodies, it was possible to advance the plan."
The plan joins a series of other plans promoted by the committee in the city - the "Park" and "Complex 17" neighborhoods located in the southeast of the city, and "Complex 25" located in the south of the city.
Yesterday it was reported that a large deal was signed in the city between the Kiryat Safar company and the Beit Yerushalmi group for the construction of approximately 500 housing units on a land area of approximately 52 dunams. This is good news for young couples looking for residences to purchase close to the center at a reasonable price.
