   The unitary mobilization of the CGIL, CISL and UIL starts, launching a campaign of assemblies in the workplace and in the territories in April and May and organizing three interregional demonstrations on Saturday (North, Centre, South), to be held in Bologna (6 May), Milan (May 13) and Naples (May 20).

The mobilization, underline the unions, "intends to support the unitary requests made by the CGIL, CISL and UIL and by the categories towards the government and the business system in order to obtain a change in industrial, economic, social and employment policies, and concrete results" on various topics, from occupational safety to pensions;

from taxes to wages.

    The unions therefore indicate a series of issues at the center of the mobilization: protection of incomes from inflation and increase in the real value of pensions and wages;

renewal of national contracts of the public and private sectors.

Tax reform, with "a strong reduction" of the burden on work and pensions, taxation of extra profits and financial income.

Enhancement of employment and funding of the public health and social care system to guarantee the universal right to health and of the education and training system;

greater support for dependency.

    With these initiatives, the workers' representatives want to say "no more deaths at work" and ask to combat occupational diseases and precariousness, and to give centrality to workplace safety in the procurement system, eliminate cascading subcontracts, wage a merciless fight against mafias and illegal hiring.

Cgil, Cisl and Uil also insist on the reform of the social security system and on industrial and investment policies "shared with the world of work to negotiate the environmental and digital transition, creating a new development model with particular attention to the south and aiming for full employment ".
