Weather: Easter week colder than Christmas, temperatures down

Holy Week will be colder than Christmas.

Polar air arriving from Norway is entering our country, in the next few days the highs will drop by 5-10 degrees everywhere, while the lows could slip below zero in Val Padana with the risk of late frosts.

These are the forecasts of Lorenzo Tedici, meteorologist of the website www.iLMeteo.it, who recalls the temperatures recorded at Christmas 2022 with peaks of 21 degrees in Cagliari and Catania and 15 degrees also in the Po Valley.

"In the next few hours - he adds - the temperatures will also drop by 7-8 degrees in the minimum values, the maximum values ​​will drop by the same amount in the Centre-North while we will have an increase in the South with the weather improving. The cyclone that has brought severe bad weather in the last in fact, it is moving away towards Greece for two days: today residual showers are expected in the South and between the middle Adriatic and Lower Lazio, but in a sunny context.

The wind, on the other hand, will still be tense from the northern quadrants and will cause temperatures to drop.

Tomorrow the instability will rekindle in the Center-South in the afternoon hours and between Friday and Saturday a new unstable impulse is expected from Northern Europe with possible rain showers.

At the moment Easter seems to have temperatures below average and mostly sunny;

it will be uncertain only in the South with scattered showers.

IN DETAIL Tuesday 4. In the north: cold in the morning, prevailing good weather.

In the center: cold winds from Bora and Grecale, showers on Sardinia, Abruzzo and Molise, worsening in the evening on Lazio.

Wednesday 5. In the north: partly cloudy, cold for the period.

In the centre: unstable in Lazio with snow at 4-500 metres.
