Trust, loyalty, truth - these are the symbolic values associated with blue.
And it is indeed for this color that Charles III and Queen Camilla have opted for their new official portrait.
Buckingham Palace has indeed unveiled, on Tuesday, April 4, an unpublished snapshot of the sovereign and his wife.
A photograph that illustrates the invitation to the king's coronation, scheduled for May 6.
We see the couple, all smiles, posing side by side, in the Blue Drawing Room of the palace.
Their outfits: a striped suit, complete with a patterned blue tie for him;
a blue zip-front dress and a three-row pearl necklace for her.

The invitation, on which Camilla is given for the first time, officially at least, the title of queen - and not queen consort - will be issued to more than 2,000 people.
Among them, Jill Biden, but also Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
Harper's Bazaar
had indeed confirmed, on March 5, that the Sussexes had exchanged with Buckingham about the event.
It is not yet known whether they will attend.
Prince George and his parents, Kate Middleton and Prince William, will be there.
The 9-year-old boy will notably become the youngest future monarch to occupy an important role in the context of a coronation: he will officiate as page of honor, and will hold the robes of Charles III and Camilla during the ceremony.
A taste of what awaits the eldest of Wales, predestined to ascend the throne of England one day.
