(ANSA) - ROME, 05 APR - Since 9 am on 27 March - the click day of the 2022 flow decree - over 252 thousand applications have been submitted by employers for the entry of foreign workers for employment reasons, including seasonal ones.
The quotas envisaged by the measure are 82,705.
The largest number of applications concerns Campania (109,716), followed by Lazio (20,879) and Veneto (20,661).
The questions were all duly acquired, without critical issues, by the Viminale telematics platform, informs the ministry.
We are already proceeding to gradually distribute, by provincial area to each Single Immigration Desk, the applications presented by the employers, who have indicated the name of each worker, in compliance with the countries of origin indicated in the flows decree, and the relative sector of employment.
The requests will be processed - through a dedicated computer system - in compliance with the chronological order and within the limits of the quotas which will be communicated electronically by the Ministry of Labor and Social Policies.
The fully computerized procedure ensures, according to the Viminale, "streamlined and rapidity for the users and administrations involved".
