A DHL package arrived at a customer who was completely riddled with holes and who is also missing parts of the contents.
The deliverer explains how this could have happened.
Munich – "Letters arrive in tatters and some of the content is missing," complains a Facebook user.
She shows photos of a broken envelope and says: "DHL is not recommended."
"Only to the K...!": Customer receives a completely demolished envelope - some of the content is said to be gone
The delivery person severely disappointed the customer.
"You ask for more money, but your service is getting worse and worse," she chalks up to DHL, whose employees recently went on strike for more wages.
Another customer recently had a similar experience when she came across what was perhaps the most impudent parcel delivery man of all.
"This club is only for K...!", the Facebook user rages about DHL and her tattered mail.
"I can only agree," says another woman.
She says: "I have always chosen DHL and paid a little more for the service, but the packages just don't arrive."
DHL explains broken delivery: "Unfortunately, we can't completely prevent that"
DHL responded to the complaint in the comments and explained how it was possible for a shipment to end up in the mailbox in such a battered state.
Customer service writes: “During mechanical processing, letters are transported through the conveyor belts of our sorting machines at very high speeds.
They can also be damaged by other letters that contain smaller items, for example.
Unfortunately, we cannot completely prevent that.”
Customer complains about the missing content of the DHL package: customer service helps with the search
In the search for the missing content, the group offers its help.
The woman should contact the “Customer Service Letter” using a form.
The missing parts may be in a sorting hall.
The customer can only hope that they will really show up again.
A customer experienced the triple package nightmare in January.
"Thrown, torn open, missing goods," he raged.
Despite post-packaging, his package arrived completely demolished.
