During the Easter night mass, Pope Francis will baptize eight adults:
three from Albania, two from the United States, one from Nigeria, one from Venezuela and one from Italy.
And with reference to Albania, on Easter Sunday, 94-year-old Cardinal Ernest Simoni, created cardinal by Pope Francis who had met him on his trip to Albania in 2014, will also concelebrate with the Pope. Simoni is one of the Catholic priests who were persecuted by the communist regime of Enver Hoxha.
