For the first time ever, the iconic white suit worn by Tony Manero, aka John Travolta, in the 1977 cult film 'Saturday Night Fever' is up for auction.
It is estimated at between 100 and 200 thousand dollars.
This was announced by Julien's Auctions in collaboration with Turner Classic Movies.
The dress will be auctioned off as part of the 'Hollywood: Classic & Contemporary' sale taking place in California on April 22-23.
According to the organizers of the sale, the suit is one of only two suits used during the production of the film.
Travolta wears it in the scene where he dances with Karen Lynn Gorney to the tune of 'More than a woman' by the Bee Gees.
Among the other auctioned items also the machete held by Harrison Ford in 'Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom', also estimated at up to 200 thousand dollars, the hoverboard used by Michael J. Fox in 'Back to the Future', estimated up to 80 thousand dollars.
