EMBED END Image {id: "editor_0"}The Olympic village of Cortina for the 2026 Winter Games will be built in Fiames, it will be made up of temporary houses, will have "1,200-1,300 seats" and will cost "around 36 million euros".
This was announced with "great satisfaction" by the mayor of Cortina Gianluca Lorenzi, after the control room on Milan-Cortina.
"We are talking about 1,200-1,300 places, we asked Mi-Co to carry out a check, 100 or 200 places make the difference. We must also consider - he added - the whole security, police, finance and carabinieri sector: we must understand how to involve them in the situation because they are fundamental in the execution of the Olympiad".
