In June, the Ateliers des Capucins will host more than 300 works by the British artist on the occasion of an immersion in the work of this figure of urban art.

The frescoes of Banksy, the king of

street art

, will soon land in Brest.

The Ateliers Capucins, in the heart of the city, will present from June 10 to 23, the 300 works of the

"solidarity exhibition"

and itinerant

Banksy Modeste Collection.

Presented last October in Marseille, this set will pass, before Brest, by the Manège des Casernes de Libourne, in Gironde.

In Brest, the free event will give rise to a collection of donations for the SOS Méditerranée association, supported by Banksy.

The organizers of the exhibition are already looking for volunteers sensitive to the cause of the association dedicated to the rescue of migrants at sea, specifies the regional daily Le

Télégramme

.

The volunteers will participate in the management and animation of the event,

“in support of the professional team”

The artist intrigues and challenges.

Unlike his exhibitions, no one knows where the artist will hatch new frescoes.

Very discreet, Banksy was talked about this fall after painting several new frescoes in Ukraine, on sites devastated by the Russian invasion, from the rubble of Borodianka to the ruins of Irpin, in the Kiev region.

From London to New York, Banksy is definitely everywhere.
