Between cinema and
Madame Figaro
, it's an endless love-story, in one take.
"A fusional love story and a weekly passion", as recalled this Thursday evening Anne-Florence Schmitt, the editorial director of "feminine cinema", in the preamble to an exceptional Cinema Dinner.
The pre-Cannes Festival event is now well established, in partnership with Chopard, including Caroline Scheufele, the soul of the high jewelry house, who has always been associated with the world of the arts.
Each year, Chopard thus chisels the precious Palme d'Or at the Cannes Film Festival.
As luck would have it, the press conference for the next festival (from May 16 to 27), raising the curtain on the official selection, took place the same morning.

A group of gospell sang R&B hits between the tables during dessert, enough to end the tasty pavlovas joyfully: everyone was
happy
, as in Pharrell Williams' hit, which made the guests still seated move.
Around 1 a.m., the Eiffel Tower had fallen asleep, the lights of the city capsized, but the hard core of night owls, Gilles Lellouche, Camille Cottin, Augustin Trapenard, Doria Tillier or Marina Foïs, remade the world around a Angelus castle glass.
In the peaceful night, the cinema season was launched.
