(ANSA) - WASHINGTON, APRIL 14 - "The sooner we manage to get to work on the changes" to the Pnrr "the better".
This was stated by the European Commissioner for the Economy Paolo Gentiloni on the sidelines of the IMF's work, responding to those who asked him for updates on the changes to the Pnrr that the government must present.
"We need to work on it as soon as possible and I am convinced that it is also the awareness of the government", says Gentiloni, underlining "the challenge of growth remains fundamental for the EU and for Italy: we cannot resign ourselves to a return to zero point growth in Europe, and this requires work on investments. And this means Pnrr for Italy".
