You will have to believe us when we say that this is not an easy job, not easy at all.

To try all the new products that come out to the Israeli market (and sometimes outside of it as well), to taste in front of everyone, deliveries and more deliveries, paper bags that accumulate in the office (and at home), a never-ending feeling of satiety.

Seriously, it's harder than it looks, and no one is paying you to go to the gym, or compensating you for the FOMO that quickly develops in your mind.

, however, the "New on the Shelf" section, for its tasters, curious and loyal consumers, has set off again, determined and mission-oriented.

And this time - landings, launches, and summer preparations.

Yes, we are very eclectic.

enjoy your meal!

The efficient food importer lands in Israel a series of chocolate, hazelnut and giandua spreads.

The launch includes, for now, five excellent spreads from Pernigotti in Italy - hazelnut and cocoa spread (which gives a nice pate to the mythological competitor), hazelnut and cocoa crunch spread, Giandoia chocolate spread (great and quickly eliminated), Giandoia chocolate and walnut spread and Gianduja dark chocolate spread (which was our favorite).

Price: 15.90-17.90 for 350 grams.

In four words: one of each please.

The popular chicken company from the "Tzemach Shan" group is launching the "Tami HaMashk" series, which is based on whole cut sausages and pastrami, with small twists in the cutting plot.

The series includes, for now, four pepper pastrami (spicy and tasty), Romanian-style pastrami (juicy), goose-flavored pastrami (slightly more smoky and deep), and beef shoulder (which is a great pairing for a very meaty homemade sandwich).

Roasted peppers, Liron

And still in the same sandwich: the Israeli food brand lands in Israel a series of ready-to-eat peppers from Spain, without added sugar, food coloring or water.

The series includes, for now, colored peppers - red, green and yellow - as well as a red-only package, both of which provide an excellent snack, completely legitimate on its own, and also increases flavor when added to the table.

Price: NIS 12.90-15.90 for 350 grams.

Vanilla and caramel coffee capsules, Starbucks

The American coffee giant is expanding its shelves and launching vanilla and caramel flavored capsules in Israel.

These are Smooth Caramel and Creamy Vanilla capsules from lightly roasted Arabica beans, which blended together perfectly as a relatively indulgent evening drink, and stood each on its own, as a more elaborate caffeinated pick-me-up of an afternoon, like a summery homemade frappe.

In three words: the sweet we need.

Refrigerator drinks series, Alpro

And still inside the same coffee mug: the European milk substitute brand opens the refrigerator doors and launches a new series of drinks, based on almonds and oats.

The recipe, which according to the statements is adapted to the Israeli taste, comes ready to be added to coffee or for more elaborate whipping, and works well as part of a smoothie, or as it is, straight from the carton, with a balanced "milky" taste and only mild sweetness.

In four words: for substitutes, and also for everyone else.

Protein bars, plant based

The food company is expanding shelves with a double launch - an organic protein snack based on almonds or hazelnuts, with pea and rice protein, and chocolate coating.

The vegan snacks contain 25% vegetable protein, do not contain gluten or white sugar, and come in an ideal size for a snack break, with moderate sweetness and a good texture.

In four words: for spotters, but not only.
