After many stars decline, Katy Perry agrees to sing at Charles III's coronation

The American singer will headline the coronation concert of King Charles III to be held at Windsor Castle on May 7. Many British stars have so far declined the invitation.


It's official, Katy Perry and Lionel Richie will be the headliners at the King Charles III coronation concert on May 7th.

The concert, organized by BBC Studios Productions, will take place at Windsor Castle, on the outskirts of London, in front of an audience of 20,000 spectators after the king's coronation which will take place at Westminster Abbey earlier today .

"The concert will celebrate a new chapter in the nation's history, with themes of love, respect and optimism, celebrating the four nations, their communities and the Commonwealth," the UK public broadcaster said.

This event will be the culmination of three days of celebrations across the UK.
