It's official, Katy Perry and Lionel Richie will be the headliners at the King Charles III coronation concert on May 7th.
The concert, organized by BBC Studios Productions, will take place at Windsor Castle, on the outskirts of London, in front of an audience of 20,000 spectators after the king's coronation which will take place at Westminster Abbey earlier today .

Freya Ridings, Alexis French but also the Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli or the Welsh baritone Sir Bryn Terfel will also be present, promising an eclectic mix of music.
Also note the participation of the boy band Take That, in its initial form, that is to say without Robbie Williams.
An amateur choir made up of sea rescuers, taxi drivers and reggae bands, in addition to a virtual choir featuring representatives from the Commonwealth will also perform on stage.

This major show will be streamed via BBC ONE, BBC iPlayer, BBC Radio 2 and BBC Sounds.
"The concert will celebrate a new chapter in the nation's history, with themes of love, respect and optimism, celebrating the four nations, their communities and the Commonwealth," the UK public broadcaster said.
This event will be the culmination of three days of celebrations across the UK.
Katy Perry and Lionel Richie, who are both judges on

, have a long-standing relationship with the British royal family.
The 38-year-old singer was, for example, the ambassador of the British Asian Trust, co-founded by Prince Charles.
"Sharing the stage with the other artists of the 'Coronation Concert' is a once-in-a-lifetime event and it will be an honor and a celebration," Lionel Richie said in a statement.
