(ANSA) - ROME, APRIL 15 - Three underage girls were arrested for poisoning in schools in Shiraz, in central-southern Iran.
This was reported by the human rights agency Hrana on its website, underlining that in recent months the police and judicial institutions have attempted to attribute the responsibility for the poisonings in girls' schools to opposition groups or the students themselves.
According to Hrana, "Erfaneh Honar, Setayesh Darougheh and Setayesh Amiri are being held in Adelabad Jail in Shiraz without being able to make calls or receive visits from family."
Tear gas was fired by Iranian police at a march of people who were demonstrating today against the poisoning of students in Shahinshahr in the center of the country.
This was reported by the BBC Persian and Iran International, specifying that in the images published on social media, some people can be seen gathered in front of a school while shouting government slogans such as: "We don't want a government that kills children, we don't want that" and who are then attacked by the police in attempt to disperse them using tear gas.
